In Voznesensk, they cannot dismantle a destroyed house for the second year in a row due to the refusal of residents to receive certificates for housing compensation.
This is reported in the article NikVesti: «The destroyed building in Voznesensk: why is the dismantling delayed?».
On August 20, 2022, a rocket hit a five-story building at 39 Kotliarevskyi Street, injuring nine people. The expert commission established that 60% of the structures are seriously damaged, so the building must be demolished. Despite the experts' conclusions, the work has not yet started.
The mayor of Voznesensk, Yevhen Velychko, notes that four families have not yet received payments, and dismantling is impossible without their consent.
«We cannot submit the house for dismantling until we resolve the issue with the other residents. Or there should be a general meeting in which they should show that they do not object to the demolition of the house,» he said.
Despite the fact that 21 families out of 27 received compensation certificates, only five families bought new housing.
The city authorities estimate the cost of dismantling at one and a half million hryvnias, but the lack of funding complicates the process.
«In addition to the costs of demolition, additional funds will go to processing construction waste, which further increases the total cost of the works,» explains Yevhen Velychko.
According to Mayor Yevhen Velychko, even after the demolition of the building, the question of further use of the site remains open. According to the general plan of the city, this area is intended for residential development. However, in order to start the construction of another object, it is necessary to develop a detailed plan of the territory, which will cost about 200 thousand hryvnias.
We will remind that during the period of operation of the «eVidnovlennia» program, 6 thousand 582 residents of the Mykolaiv Oblast submitted applications for compensation for destroyed housing as a result of the hostile aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
