On the night of October 13, the Russian military attacked Ukraine with the help of 68 Shahed attack drones and four missiles of various types. 31 drones were shot down.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Drones were launched from Kursk and Oryol in Russia, and they were shot down in Kyiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy and Cherkasy regions.
Another 36 Russian drones are believed to have been suppressed by electronic warfare, and one is still in the airspace.
Meanwhile, two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, which were used to attack Poltava region and Odesa region, were launched from the Kursk region. From there, Chernihiv Oblast and Sumy Oblast were attacked by two X-59 guided air missiles.
The attack was repulsed by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
We will remind you that the Russian troops have changed the shelling tactics of the Mykolayiv region, focusing their attacks on new communities and objects. As the head of Mykolaiv RMA Vitalii Kim reported, the enemy began to use rockets and Shaheds against areas that were previously less likely to be attacked.
