Russian troops have changed their shelling tactics in the Mykolaiv region, focusing their attacks on new communities and objects.

As the head of Mykolaiv RMA Vitalii Kim reported on the air of the telethon, the enemy began to use rockets and Shaheds against areas that were previously less likely to be attacked.

«The enemy continues to bombard the Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities every day, but has now switched to attacks on other territories, in particular the Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts, the Snihurivka community, the city of Mykolaiv and its surroundings,» Vitalii Kim noted.

A significant part of the shelling is aimed at critical infrastructure facilities, the purpose of which is to leave the region without electricity and heat. According to Vitalii Kim, due to the low quality of intelligence, Russian troops often strike farms and other non-military targets.

«First, they are targeting critical infrastructure facilities in order to deprive us of light and heat. Second, they try to hit military targets, but due to poor intelligence, they end up on farmlands,» said the head of the RMA.

According to Vitalii Kim, recently the enemy has been trying to hit warehouses where, in their opinion, military facilities may be located.

«They got the alcohol content. They just hit large warehouses where theoretically there could be something, indiscriminately,» he said.
