The President criticized the Verkhovna Rada for canceling the meeting due to a possible missile attack by the Russian Federation.

He spoke about this during the evening address.

The president noted that the missile threat cannot be ignored under any circumstances, but when there is no alarm — «the state, industries, embassies — everyone should work equally».

«And to perceive information, in particular, from intelligence services as information, and not as permission for a day off. This applies to everyone — from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and other structures and branches of government to administrative bodies in regions and communities,» said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He also added that when an air raid siren sounds in Ukraine, everyone goes to shelter, when the siren does not sound, everyone works.

«There is no other way in war. We must be aware that «comrade» Putin will continue to intimidate us,» the president emphasized.

It will be recalled that on the morning of November 20, the US Embassy in Ukraine announced that it had «concrete» information about a possible massive shelling that could take place today. In this connection, the diplomatic institution will be temporarily closed.

By the end of the day, the embassies of Spain, Italy and Greece were also closed.

In addition, during the day, Telegram channels spread information about the possibility of an intercontinental ballistic missile attack on Ukraine. However, the authorities assure that such a threat exists every day.

Later, the MDI stated that Russia was spreading fake messages about the threat of a missile attack on Ukraine. In particular, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called the security warnings of the embassies in Kyiv «informational propaganda».
