The Russian army released more than 2,000 Shaheds across Ukraine in October

During October, the Russian army used 2,023 Shahed-type attack UAVs and drones of an unspecified type on civilian and military facilities in Ukraine.

As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 1,185 of them were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders, 738 drones were lost in location, and another 29 UAVs left the airspace of Ukraine.

In total, since the beginning of 2024, Russian troops have launched 6,987 attack UAVs on the territory of Ukraine. Drones were mainly aimed at civilian and critical infrastructure of Ukraine.

It is noted that the enemy's air attacks are repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, EW units and mobile fire groups.

We will remind that on October 31, the Russian army once again attacked the Kutsurub community of the Mykolaiv region with an FPV drone. As a result of shelling, a private house was damaged in the village of Dniprovske, but there were no casualties among the population.
