The Mykolayiv City Emergency Hospital received equipment to help victims of explosive objects.

This was reported in the Department of Health Protection of Mykolaiv.

The hospital received operating and forehead illuminators for safe surgical procedures; a modern tonometer and an operating microscope, sterilizers for instrument disinfection, a laboratory thermostat for stable research conditions, a medical centrifuge to ensure accurate analyses, as well as special gurneys for transporting patients.

«This equipment is relevant for an emergency hospital, which provides assistance to more than 20,000 patients every year. In addition, currently, during the war, the emergency medical hospital accepts not only patients from Mykolaiv and the region, but also sick and injured from the Kherson region,» the message says.

The project «Improving the quality of assistance to persons injured by explosive objects» is implemented by the «Initiative for Life» WBO with the support of UNDP within the framework of the project «Transformative recovery for the safety of people in Ukraine» and with the financial support of the Government of Japan.

We will remind you that at the end of October, Mykolaiv City Emergency Hospital received modern equipment and tools for the neurosurgery department from benefactors.

It was also reported that the Mykolaiv emergency hospital received a grant from the Japanese government in the form of medical equipment worth $50,000.

Two operating mobile microscopes, gurneys for moving patients, two forehead illuminators with binoculars, equipment for non-contact measurement of eye pressure, sterilization equipment, a laboratory thermostat and a medical centrifuge for the needs of the hospital's biochemical laboratory were transferred to the hospital.
