Mykolaiv region became the leader among the regions of Ukraine in terms of inflation in 2024, which was 9.9%.
These data are cited by the analytical portal «Slovo i Dilo».
Other records of 2024 include the lowest rent in Kherson region — only 2,900 hryvnias for a one-bedroom apartment, and the largest wheat harvest in Odesa region — 2 million 801,600 tonnes.
«Slovo i Dilo» has been collecting records of each region at the end of the year for many years. This can be the highest average salary, a record number of housing units commissioned, the lowest number of road accidents, or successes in agriculture,» the report says.
Earlier, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, announced a plan to restore the region's economy after the end of the full-scale war. In particular, 60 large enterprises are planned to open in the region, which will operate on the basis of technology parks. The head of the regional military administration expects one of them to open as early as 2025.
