Today, 19 January, residents of Mykolaiv gathered to rally in support of prisoners of war and missing persons.
The event, which brings together relatives and friends of prisoners of war and missing persons, as well as concerned local residents, takes place every Sunday, a correspondent for NikVesti reports.
Marina, a participant in the campaign, said that she has been waiting for her son to be released from captivity since May 2022, but she does not know where her son is.
«My son has been in captivity since 18 May 2022. He was at «Azovstal». We come here to be heard, to get some peace of mind, because we understand what captivity is. Captivity is a terrible thing. The guys who come here tell us such terrible things. We also have a son who is sick there, and now we don't even know where he is,» Marina said.

As reported, on 29 December, a peaceful rally was held in Mykolaiv to remind people of the Ukrainian Armed Forces prisoners of war and missing persons.
