Mykolaiv wants to transform the building of the Young Sailors' Club into a modern educational space

Mykolaiv plans to create a modernisation project on the basis of the Young Sailors' Club. Modern classrooms, a gym, a shooting range, and training laboratories are to be set up there.

This was reported by the Business Support Centre.

It is noted that the project «of the Water Palace» involves not only the transformation of the building of the Young Sailors Club into a modern space, but also the development of water tourism, recreation on and near the water, as well as the promotion of sports and the organisation of public events. The project will become one of the key locations on the territory of the new coastal public space AQUAPORT MYKOLAIV.

In addition to the training space at the Young Sailors' Club, it is also planned to equip a ticket office area, information stands, and a waiting room for river transport passengers. They also want to create a large open space on the territory, where various events, concerts and community meetings will take place.

At a regular meeting of the community and experts, drawings, diagrams and visualisations of the future location were presented.
