The Ministry of Defence signed contracts with 12 arms manufacturers for almost ₴130 billion

Production at the plant. Photo: EPA/ROMAN PILIPEYIn 2025, the Ministry of Defence signed arms supply contracts with 12 Ukrainian manufacturers worth almost 130 billion hryvnias.
This was announced during an online meeting with representatives of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Defence by Hlib Kanevskyi, Director of the Procurement Policy Department, the Ministry of Defence reports.
It is noted that among the main requirements for Ukrainian arms manufacturers who want to join the initiative «Weapons of Victory» and conclude long-term contracts are mandatory codification, mass production and a localisation level of at least 50%.
It is worth reminding that over 55 billion hryvnias is planned to be allocated for the production of weapons and military equipment in Ukraine in 2025, which is 3 billion hryvnias more than in 2024.
