At the talks in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, the Russian delegation said it would not discuss ending attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine.

Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ihor Zhovkva said this in an interview with «Ukrinform».

According to him, Ukraine insisted on stopping the shelling of schools, hospitals, residential buildings and kindergartens, but Russian representatives said that «they had no mandate» for such negotiations.

In addition, when discussing the protection of energy infrastructure, Russia published its own list of objects, which differs significantly from the Ukrainian one.

«On 25 March, they published their list, their understanding of the objects, which is much smaller and narrower than ours. The American side did not agree on this list, because, again, like the statement about the alleged terms of the Black Sea truce, it was issued only in Russian,» said Zhovkva.

It should be recalled that the United States, Ukraine and Russia agreed at the talks in Saudi Arabia to ensure safe navigation and «exclude the use of force» in the Black Sea.

In addition, during the talks with the United States in Saudi Arabia, Russia demanded full control over Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
