The United States, Ukraine and Russia have agreed at talks in Saudi Arabia to ensure safe navigation and «exclude the use of force» in the Black Sea.
This is stated in the statements on the results of the talks between the US and Ukrainian delegations in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on 25 March, which were published on the White House website.
The White House said that the United States would also help restore Russia's access to the global market for agricultural products and fertilisers.
The United States and Ukraine also agreed to develop measures to implement the agreement between Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy to ban strikes on energy facilities in Russia and Ukraine.
In addition, according to the statement, the United States and Ukraine agreed that the United States remains committed to assisting in the exchange of prisoners of war, the release of detained civilians, and the return of forcibly removed Ukrainian children».
As a reminder, a new round of talks between Ukraine and the United States began on 25 March in Saudi Arabia in the capital Riyadh.
