Peace negotiations are a process of diplomatic conflict resolution, including war, through dialogue between parties. In the context of the Russia-Ukraine war, several rounds of peace talks have taken place. In March 2022, Istanbul hosted a key round where potential compromises were discussed. In August 2023, there were reports of preparations for a peace summit near Kursk, but no official confirmation followed.

As of 2024, efforts to involve international mediators in the negotiations are actively underway. The UN, EU, USA, China, and other countries are playing a significant role in this process. One of the primary goals is to organize a future peace summit to unite the international community in resolving the conflict.
