Record-breaking heat: temperatures in Mykolaiv are approaching +38°C
A new temperature record was set in Mykolaiv today, 30 June; as of 3 pm, the air had warmed to +37.9°C.
This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology.
It is noted that this exceeded the previous record for 30 June, which had stood since 1963 at +35.4°C.
Thus, the temperature record for this day has already been broken. Final data on the maximum temperature will be available once the meteorological day has ended.
It should be noted that an extreme, fifth-class fire danger is forecast across the entire Mykolaiv region on 30 June.
