In the Volodymyrivka community in the Bashtanka district, there are plans to renovate a hotel building, which will be converted into accommodation for internally displaced persons.
This is according to data from the Prozorro public procurement system.
A budget of 6,827,501 hryvnias has been allocated for the works. The Volodymyrivka Village Council is the contracting authority. The project is being implemented as part of a state programme to establish a housing fund for temporary or supported accommodation for evacuees and internally displaced persons.
The hotel will be renovated using both state budget funds and co-financing from the local community. In accordance with a decision adopted at a session of the Volodymyrivka Village Council, 5.7 million hryvnias were received from the state budget in the form of a subvention. A further 2 million hryvnias will be allocated from the local budget, and 435,700 hryvnias are planned to be raised from other sources not prohibited by law.
According to the tender documentation, the contractor is to receive an advance payment of 30 per cent of the cost of the works, to be paid within 10 banking days of the contract being signed. The repairs are to be completed by 25 December 2027.
The successful tenderer will be selected on the basis of the lowest bid; participants are currently able to submit their bids.
We would like to remind you that in early June, seven modular homes were opened in the Bashtanka community for families who were forced to leave their homes due to the war or lost them as a result of hostilities.
We would also like to remind you that in June, a number of issues were identified during an inspection of accommodation for displaced persons in Mykolaiv. These included fire safety, accessibility for people with disabilities, and sanitary conditions.
It was also reported that members of the Mykolaiv City Council did not support the decision to allocate a plot of land on Bohoiavlenskyi Avenue to the municipal enterprise «Svii Dim» for the construction of modular homes.
The plot in question covers an area of almost 3.6 hectares on Bohoiavlenskyi Avenue in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv. The municipal enterprise «Svii Dim» had planned to grant permission to draw up a land-use plan, with a view to subsequently transferring this land to the enterprise for permanent use. Serhii Korenev, Deputy Mayor of Mykolaiv, is coordinating communications with the partners planning to erect the houses.
