— Russia carries out massive, systematic attacks to paralyze the power grid, but Ukrainians work day and night to ensure the necessary supply of electricity for the population, — said Prime Minister Jonas Gar Stere.

He noted that Norway is conducting a dialogue with Ukraine about the use of the provided funds, but «Ukrainians understand best what is needed.» The Prime Minister also added that it is important to start repairing the infrastructure before the onset of winter.

Norway reported that it has already been decided that 120 million kroner will go to repair the energy sector in Kharkiv. Solar batteries will be installed in seven maternity wards and operating rooms in the Kharkiv region.

We will remind that on June 15, as part of the Peace Summit in Switzerland, Vice President Kamala Harris announced the allocation of more than 1.5 billion dollars to strengthen the energy sector of Ukraine.
