Almost half a ton of Russian-language books were turned in for waste paper, the funds will go to the AFU in Lutsk

In the Volyn Library for Youth in Lutsk, as part of the «Say NO to Russian Literature» action, they collected a batch of books for waste paper — 417 kilograms of Russian-language literature.

Alla Efremova, director of the library, told about this in a comment to «Suspilne».

According to her, readers brought fiction books, magazines, etc., and in general, this batch was collected in less than six months.

Alla YEfremova noted that they managed to get one thousand hryvnias for almost half a ton of literature, the funds were transferred to the collection for the 14th mechanized brigade.

«After we return the books to waste paper each time, people bring new ones, find them on their shelves at home. Residents of Lutsk already know about the campaign,» said the director of the library.

Currently, the campaign for collecting waste paper publications in the library continues.
