In the Kherson region, the activation of enemy forces is noted, but the creation of additional strike groups is not observed.

Nataliia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Press Center of the «Pivden» Operational Command, announced this on the air of the telethon.

«In recent days, the Kherson people and the right bank felt that the enemy had become more active. After the failed report on the clearing of the Krynky bridgehead, they are trying to put pressure on this direction of the front in this way, but they are not succeeding,» she said.

The spokeswoman of the OC «Pivden» noted that the Ukrainian defenders continue to strengthen the defense structures that have already been built.

«Fortification of existing defense structures is currently underway. This is not the construction of new buildings. Such is the logic of the introduction of hostilities. There is nothing terrible or critical here. This means that we are ready for any development of events and our boundaries are strengthened,» Nataliia Humeniuk said.

Nataliia Humeniuk previously noted that in the south of Ukraine, the Russian invaders are very careful with the use of aviation. They are currently looking for new launch sites for airstrikes.
