The Mykolaiv City Council awarded gymnast Peremeta, who performed at the Olympic Games

Mykolaiv paid a one-time monetary reward from the city budget to gymnast Valeriia Peremeta, who took seventh place as part of the National Team of Ukraine in the final of the Olympic Games in rhythmic gymnastics held in Paris.
This is evidenced by the mayor's order, which was signed by the first deputy mayor of Mykolaiv, Vitalii Lukov, on August 13.
It says that it has been decided to pay Valeriia Peremeta a one-time reward for the bronze stage of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in July and for obtaining a license to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games.
The athlete should receive 50,000 hryvnias in accordance with the protocol of the meeting of the working group on determining and assigning one-time awards to the best athletes of the city and one-time awarding of trainers-teachers from August 6.
The Sports Department of the Mykolaiv City Council noted that earlier, for obtaining a license to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games, a prize of 50,000 hryvnias was awarded to the Mykolaiv diver, master of sports of Ukraine, Danylo Konovalov.
We will remind that Mykolaiv divers Danylo Konovalov and Oleh Kolodii performed in the final of the 2024 Olympics in Paris on August 2. They took seventh place.
Diving coach Olena Bezrukova also received a prize of 20,000 hryvnias.
Mykolaiv athletes at the 2024 Olympics
This year, the 2024 Olympic Games were held in Paris. 18-year-old Mykolaiv athlete Oleksii Sereda took fifth place in the finals of the synchronized jumping competition from the 10-meter tower.
And Mykolaiv diver Kseniia Bailo in a duet with athlete Sofiia Liskun took seventh place at the Olympic Games in Paris in synchronized jumping from a 10-meter springboard. And Mykolaiv divers Danylo Konovalov and Oleh Kolodii took part in synchronized diving from a 3-meter springboard and took seventh place.
Women's saber competitions were also held at the Olympic Games. Mykolaiv fencer Olha Kharlan won the decisive battle for bronze. At the same time, Olha Kharlan played a key role on the way to gold in the team tournament. Thus, Olga Harlan became a six-time Olympic medalist, winning the gold of the team saber fencing tournament at the 2024 Games.
The Ukrainian kayaking team took fourth place at the 2024 Olympic Games in the 500-meter kayak four.
