Kharlan receives a special award «Sporting symbol of unity»

Mykolaiv athlete Olha Kharlan received a special award from the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine «Sports symbol of unity».

This was reported by the NOC branch in Mykolaiv region.

The athlete was awarded on 18 January at the Olympic House in Kyiv.

«Presenting the award to the two-time Olympic champion, the president of the National Olympic Committee Vadym Hutsait stressed that she had become a true voice of Ukrainian sport in a difficult time of war for the country», the statement said.

In addition, during the ceremony, Olha Kharlan was presented with a personalised ceramic statuette symbolising victory and indomitable spirit.

Earlier it was reported that Mykolaiv Olympic champion Olha Kharlan received the SBC Ukraine Awards in sports marketing in two nominations.
