Olena Kiseliova is a member of Mykolaiv City Council from the European Solidarity party. As of April 2026 she chaired the council standing committee on legal affairs. Kiseliova criticised the decision to take the military personal income tax away from Mykolaiv, the reorganisation of city hospitals, the late mailing of draft decisions on the eve of council sessions and voting in Zoom. In 2025 she said the city had been offered the historic tram substation on Soborna Street for ₴3.6 million six months before the auction, but deputies were never shown the offer.
