US surface-to-air missile system

Patriot is a US surface-to-air missile system made by Raytheon. In April 2024 Ukraine's Air Force said the country needed at least 25 such systems to protect its cities. Germany, the US, the Netherlands, Romania and Israel have agreed to hand Patriot systems to Ukraine, and in 2025 Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine was ready to buy 10 systems from the US for $15 billion.
