Christian feast of the Resurrection of Christ

Easter is the Christian feast of the Resurrection of Christ and the main holiday of the church year. In 2026 Mykolaiv celebrated it on 12 April according to the Orthodox and Greek Catholic traditions. At the same time Putin announced a so-called Easter truce, and the General Staff of Ukraine recorded more than 10,000 ceasefire violations by Russia.
