The beaches of Mykolaiv Oblast include the Black Sea coast around Kobleve, the shores of the Tylihul Estuary and the city beaches of Mykolaiv. Because of the war and the risk of mines, the sea beaches of the region are unsafe: Kobleve beach stayed closed in summer 2025, and there is no beach season on the Black Sea coast in summer 2026. In summer 2026 the water at most tested sites met sanitary standards, but E. coli was again found at three beaches in Mykolaiv.
