The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, has announced the launch of new tourist routes in the Mykolaiv region.

He announced this during a press conference on 30 December, according to NikVesti.

Vitalii Kim said that the region's tourist routes, developed in 2021, are fully ready for implementation. They cover popular destinations such as Pervomaisk «Myhiia», Mykolaiv and Kobleve, and are designed for one, three or seven days of travel.

«The tourist routes were developed in 2021 and are ready to go. They include destinations such as «Myhiia», Mykolaiv and Kobleve, and have options for one, three or seven days,» he said.

However, according to Kim, in the post-war period, it is necessary to make adjustments and add elements of military tourism.

«Unfortunately, we have to add military tourism to the post-war period. Just as there is industrial tourism, there is military tourism,» said Vitalii Kim.

As you know, visiting the sea in Mykolaiv region remains prohibited due to the mined coastline. This includes the resorts of Ochakiv, which suffers from shelling almost daily, and Kobleve.

Mykola Marinov, deputy head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, believes that after Ochakiv leaves the combat zone within six months, it will be possible to partially clear the beaches and partially restore Ochakiv as a resort town. In particular, the expanded map «of tourist magnets» includes 8 sites in Mykolaiv region: Aktovskyi Canyon, Trykratskyi Forest, Lake Balastne, Olvia, two national parks — «Buzkyi Gard» and «Sviatoslav's White Coast», Myhiia and Kinburn Spit.

In April 2024, Vitalii Kim, the head of the RMA, said that despite the fact that there would be no official holiday season in the region, safe areas of estuaries and rivers had been set aside and prepared for recreation.

We would like to remind you that Kobleve in Mykolaiv region is planning to open some of its beaches by summer 2025. Business owners insist on resuming the tourist season following the example of Odesa.
