Foreign accounts and cryptocurrency sales: what's in Kim's 2024 declaration

The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, has filed his annual declaration. During the year, his family increased its monetary assets, and a new source of income appeared — the sale of cryptocurrency.

Vitalii Kim submitted his property and income declaration for 2024 to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption on 28 March, according to NikVesti.

Last year, the head of the Mykolaiv Military Administration earned 1 million 762 thousand hryvnias. This is 400 thousand more than in 2023. The income of his wife Yuliia Kim remained at the level of 2023 — 500 thousand hryvnias.

It is worth noting that the declaration indicates a new source of income — the sale of cryptocurrency. Yuliia Kim, the wife of the head of the RMA, received income from their sale in the amount of 1.9 million hryvnias.

It is worth noting that in his 2023 declaration, Vitalii Kim indicated that his wife Yuliia had 0.71 Bitcoin coins on the Binance platform.

The family's cash savings have also increased. Vitalii Kim indicated that he had 150 thousand hryvnias on his personal account in a Ukrainian bank (in 2023, it was 101.5 thousand hryvnias). He also indicated that he has 74 thousand euros in the Spanish bank Santander. His wife keeps 44 thousand hryvnias in a Ukrainian bank and 68 thousand 674 euros in Santander.

Vitalii Kim keeps 67 thousand dollars in cash, and his wife keeps 2.47 million hryvnias, 28.5 thousand dollars and 70 thousand euros.

Kim owns five apartments in Mykolaiv with an area of (115.7 m2, 49.1 m2, 84.1 m2, 84.1 m2, 73.4 m2). In this section, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration also indicated a non-residential premises with an area of 293.61 m2. Another apartment of 57.9 m2 is owned by his wife.

Compared to 2023, the car fleet of Vitalii Kim's family has not changed. The family owns the following cars: Mercedes-Benz E200 made in 2015 and SUBARU XV 2.0 made in 2017. The Kim family also rents a 2020 Volkswagen Touareg R-Line, which is owned by «Monolith PE».

In the section of valuable movable property, Vitalii Kim listed a Swiss Hublot watch worth 438 thousand 720 hryvnias. It belongs to his wife Yulia Kim and was bought in 2022.

As a reminder, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, said that he had not received any bonuses over the past four years because of a promise he made to a journalist.
