Military Cemetery

Military Cemetery is a specially designated area for the burial of military personnel who died during combat, peacekeeping missions, or in the line of duty. These cemeteries serve as places of remembrance for the fallen and symbols of their sacrifice.

Military cemeteries typically feature monuments, memorial plaques, or steles engraved with the names of the deceased. In Ukraine, following the onset of war in 2014 and the full-scale invasion in 2022, the establishment and maintenance of military cemeteries have become significant elements of social and cultural initiatives.
