Mykolaiv city service for residents' complaints

Contact Centre 1588, also called Call Centre 1588, is the Mykolaiv city service where residents report problems with housing and public services. In 2025 Mykolaiv residents contacted it more than 7,500 times. As of September 2026, 6,403 requests had been received since the start of the year, and 4,507 of them had been resolved. Most complaints concern dangerous trees, public spaces and rubbish. In September 2026, 3,422 of the 5,020 open requests concerned the municipal company Mykolaiv Parks. The centre admits that new requests arrive 15–20% faster than staff can close them, and in March 2026 Mayor Sienkevych complained that complaints had gone unanswered for years.

MykVisti publishes monthly figures on residents' requests and reports on specific complaints, from sewage flooding to unsafe playgrounds, as well as the city council's promise to restore the service's mobile app.
