communities freed from Russian occupation

De-occupied territories are communities in Mykolaiv, Kherson and other regions freed from Russian occupation. Residents of de-occupied communities in Mykolaiv Oblast named mines and stray animals as their main problems. In March 2026 seven frontline communities in the region could not provide hot meals in schools. In October 2026, 132 children remained in the mandatory evacuation zone in Kherson Oblast.

MykVisti covers life, rebuilding, demining and aid in the liberated areas.
