Reporters Without Borders (Reporters sans frontières, RSF) is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1985 that protects press freedom and the rights of journalists around the world. The main goal of the organization is to ensure freedom of information as one of the fundamental human rights. Reporters Without Borders monitors violations of journalists' rights, fights censorship and supports the media in crisis. They also provide legal, financial and material assistance to journalists and media who have suffered persecution or are in danger.

In 2022, Reporters Without Borders was one of the first to support the online media «NikVesti» during the crisis caused by the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Thanks to their help, our newsroom was able to continue to work and provide the local community with important information during this difficult time.

In addition, our editorial office joined the Reporters Without Borders initiative called the Journalism Trust Initiative (JTI). We are one of the first Ukrainian media to start auditing and certifying the transparency of editorial work. This program is aimed at raising quality standards of journalism and strengthening trust in independent media. This allows us to increase the level of responsibility to our readers and ensure the reliability of the information we publish.
