About 300 meters of road will be repaired in Varvarivka for ₴4.1 million

The administration of the central district of the Mykolayiv city council announced a tender for the ongoing repair of three blocks of the road along Pivnichna Street in Varvarivka.

This is reported by «NikVesti» with reference to data from the public procurement system ProZorro.

They plan to spend 4 million 128 thousand 711 hryvnias on the works. With these funds, the contractor must complete the repair of Pivnichna Street from Ochakivska Street to Poshtova Street by December 15, 2023. The auction is scheduled to start on November 6.

According to Google Maps, the site is about 300 meters long. As stated in the tender documentation, 2,070 square meters of the road will be covered by the current repair.

We will remind you that in Mykolaiv they plan to repair the road along the roundabout at the intersection of Tsentralnyy Avenue and Bogoyavlenskyy Avenue. The works will cost 7 million hryvnias.

We remind that in Mykolaiv a traffic scheme called «turbo-ring» will be introduced at intersections with circular traffic. Such a traffic pattern will appear on Tsentralnyu Avenue — Bogoyavlenskyy Avenue — Khersonske Shose Street and along Myru Avenue — Bogoyavlenskyy Avenue — Pohranychna Street. As explained by «NikVesti» in the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the city council, this scheme is designed to speed up the movement of cars and reduce the number of road accidents due to the insufficient regulation of traffic rules during movement around the ring.

We will also remind you that the «Mykolaiv Parks» utility company announced a tender for 2.5 million hryvnias, which was planned to be spent on six-month maintenance of the territory of «Ternivske Kolo». It was about installing an irrigation system, planting perennial plants, pruning trees, and more. However, later the tender was canceled and it was decided to redirect these funds to help the military.
