In Mykolaiv, DHCS plans to repair the roundabout near the zoo: the work will cost ₴7 million

In Mykolaiv, they plan to repair the road along the roundabout at the intersection of Tsentralnyy Avenue and Bohoyavlenskyy Avenue. The works will cost 7 million hryvnias.

On October 20, the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Mykolaiv City Council announced a tender for the repair of the road. According to the tender documents, the contractor will have to repair 5,370 square meters of road along the roundabout. He must complete all works by November 30, 2023.

Currently, the process of submitting offers from future participants is ongoing, the contractor will be chosen on October 28.

We will remind you that in Mykolaiv a traffic scheme called «turbo-ring» will be introduced at intersections with circular traffic. Such a traffic pattern will appear on Tsentralnyy Avenue — Bohoyavlenskyy Avenue — Kherson Highway Street and on Myru Avenue — Bohoyavlenskyy Avenue — Pohranychna Street. As explained by «NikVesti» in the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the city council, this scheme is designed to speed up the movement of cars and reduce the number of road accidents due to the insufficient regulation of traffic rules during movement around the ring.

We also remind you that the «Mykolaivsky Parky» utility company announced a tender for 2.5 million hryvnias, which was planned to be spent on six-month maintenance of the territory of «Ternivske kolo». It was about installing an irrigation system, planting perennial plants, pruning trees, and more. However, later the tender was canceled and it was decided to redirect these funds to help the military.
