Mykolayiv energy companies have sufficient supplies of materials to restore the damaged power grids of Ochakiv and Kutsurub community in case of Russian attacks on them.
Acting director of Mykolayivoblenerho, Vadym Danylkiv, said this in an interview with NikVesti.
He explained that currently it is about restoring potentially damaged networks to a working condition, and it will be possible to talk about the full restoration of the energy infrastructure of Ochakiv and the Kutsurub community after the deoccupation of the Kinburn spit.
— Thank God, we drove the Russian troops beyond the Dnipro and today we are not damaged by the same S-300s, except for Ochakiv. This is significant for Ochakiv and the Kutsurub community. Shelling continues there — the situation has actually not changed. Of course, we will not do any restoration there yet. We will not put anything new there until we de-occupy the Kinburn Spit. However, there are stocks of materials there, — said Vadym Danylkiv.
According to him, the duration of the restoration of the energy infrastructure damaged by the enemy in the Ochakiv and Kutsurub community may be longer, compared to other communities in the region.
— The readiness of the region is related to the actions of the enemy. That is, if we are talking about Ochakiv or Kutsurub community, then, of course, the probability that people will be without electricity is higher there. Because there is a direct threat, direct shelling, direct destruction. Of course, we will be able to restore it, but the duration of the break may be longer (compared to other communities of the region, — note), — he said.
We remind you that in Ukraine there is currently enough electricity produced by power plants in the country to meet the needs of citizens. Rumors in social networks about the alleged use of blackout schedules are false.
At the same time, Mykolayivoblenerho updated the schedules of possible power outages in the region this winter and added three sub-queues to each of the three main queues.
Vadym Danylkiv, the acting director of Mykolayivoblenerho, said that the company had prepared for possible Russian attacks, so it is not worth expecting a total blackout for the residents of the region.
