Kormyshkin requires the regional authorities to explain where the artificial lung ventilation system he gave disappeared

Deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Yurii Kormyshkin demands an explanation regarding the location of the artificial lung ventilation system worth more than 1.5 million hryvnias, which he donated to the infectious disease hospital three years ago.

He stated this on Thursday, December 14, during a session of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, NikVesti reports.

Deputy Yurii Kormyshkin claims that several months ago he discovered that he had disappeared from the Mykolaiv Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital with a ventilator. Therefore, the deputy asked the head of regional health for a written explanation as to whether the medical equipment was included in the balance sheet of the infectious disease hospital, and where it is currently located.

«Three years ago, I donated ventilators worth more than 1.5 million hryvnias to an infectious disease hospital. A few months ago, I became aware that this ventilator was not available in the infectious disease hospital. It was charitable assistance. When I presented a ventilator to the infectious disease hospital, did you put it on balance or not? If so, no one except the regional council had the right to transfer him to another hospital. I am asking Maksym Beznosenko, the head of the health care department of the Mykolaiv Oblast, to give me, as a deputy of the regional council, an answer in writing about this ventilator, and if it was handed over, then the law was violated,» he said.

In turn, deputy Svitlana Fedorova, who was the head of the regional infectious disease hospital until 2021, claims that the ventilator was on the hospital's balance sheet.

«Of course, the device that was handed over by Yurii Kormyshkin during the coronavirus epidemic was a high-quality ventilator, thanks to which we saved more than 100 patients. When I was fired, it was on the balance sheet,» she said.

Maksym Beznosenko, the head of the health care department of Mykolayiv RMA, said that he would check with the head of the hospital where the ventilator is currently located.

We remind that the Mykolaiv Regional Council decided to remove from consideration of the session the issue of writing off a new operating table from the balance sheet of the Mykolaiv Infectious Disease Hospital worth 76,000 hryvnias.

Earlier, NikVesti reported that Oleksandr Ihnatenkov, acting chief physician of the institution, stated that he did not submit it to the list of written-off property.

In particular, during the meeting of the commission of the Mykolaiv Regional Council on Health Protection, which was held on December 4, deputy Svitlana Fedorova, who was the head of the regional infectious disease hospital until 2021, noted that she personally purchased this table in 2019 and it was not even unpacked.
