In Mykolaiv, they plan to build an energy-generating complex that will provide the city with a backup source of heat supply. 810 million hryvnias are needed for implementation. OKP Mykolaivoblteploenergo is looking for a donor.
Relevant information is published in the DREAM digital system, NikVisti writes.
The project involves the use of biomass — wood chips, straw and waste for heat production. According to the plans, construction should take about 60 months.
«The operation process of the complex will include the burning of biomass in special boilers that will supply heat to the centralized heating system. Biomass will be delivered to the facility and stored in separate warehouses. Before burning, the material will be prepared: crushed and dried to increase efficiency. The boilers will be energy efficient and will use technologies that reduce emissions of harmful substances. A special system will also be installed to clean flue gases,» the project states.
The generated heat is planned to be integrated into the existing heat supply system through heat exchangers.
Previously, Mykolaivvoblteploenergo also published a project for the reconstruction of the boiler house at 34 Mykolaivska street for 176 million hryvnias.
It was also reported that the Mykolaivvoblteploenergo utility company also plans to install modular cogeneration units that can fully provide Mykolaiv's infrastructure with electricity.
In addition, it is planned to install a cogeneration station in Voznesensk, which is capable of producing two types of energy from gas at the same time, in particular, electric and thermal.
