Ukraine has received €4.1 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility. This is the second regular payment allocated by the European Commission under this instrument.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

According to him, this year's total assistance under this program is 16.1 billion euros. In total, it is planned to provide Ukraine with 50 billion euros. The program will operate from 2024 to 2027.

«The next tranche was the result of our state's implementation of all measures specified in the Ukraine Plan. We thank the EU for its unwavering support for Ukraine, which is of great importance for strengthening the country's economic stability and transformation on the path to full membership in the EU»,» he noted.

As reported by the Ministry of Finance, the program provides for about 12.5 billion euros of financial support for 2025.

It was previously reported that the EU Council approved payments to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility initiative.
