People's Deputy Chornomorov disagrees with Kim's assessment of the impeachment in Yuzhnoukrainsk: «This is a raider seizure of power in the city»

People's Deputy of Ukraine Artem Chornomorov stated that the position of the head of Mykolayiv RMA Vitalii Kim, who called the change of power in the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk, legitimate, is politically incorrect.

He justified this by the fact that there is currently no court decision on this case, and the military administration does not have the right to declare the legality of the city council's actions, the People's Deputy reported in his Telegram channel.

The People's Deputy emphasized that the events in Yuzhnoukrainsk are a raider seizure of power. This is evidenced by the fact that Denys Kravchenko repeatedly tried to register for a new position with the state registrar, but he succeeded only on the third attempt.

«I saw Vitalii Oleksandrovych Kim's comment regarding the removal of the secretary of Yuzhnoukrainsk. I would even say that this is a raider seizure of power in a city where a critical infrastructure facility is located. First of all, I would like to say that it is politically incorrect for the head of the military administration to exercise the authority of the court and say what is legal and what is not legal, since there has not yet been a trial on this case. Secondly, it is too early to say, but the fact remains the fact. Kravchenko managed to carry out registration actions only on the third attempt, therefore there is every reason to believe that these actions are dubious and have signs of raiding,» wrote Artem Chornomorov.

The People's Deputy also reacted to the comment of the vice-governor, Heorhii Reshetilov, who said that the court recently decided to cancel the impeachment of the former mayor. However, as Artem Chornomorov points out, the court's decision was made in favor of the mayor.

«Thirdly, regarding Mr. Reshetilov's comment. A former employee of justice, who did not understand the case materials, misleads his manager and the public. In fact, the court made a decision in favor of the former mayor Valerii Onufriienko, as Denys Kravchenko submitted a statement on full recognition of the claims,» he added.

The politician said that he knows who is behind the raider seizure of power in the city, recalling the words of the «famous philosopher» Ihor Kolomoiskyi that everyone will have to pay for their decisions at the end of the «cash register».

«I know very well who from the regional leadership led the raider seizure of power in Yuzhnoukrainsk, what actions were taken for this, and who engaged in inaction. I would like to remind everyone involved in this process of the quote of the famous Ukrainian «philosopher» «Life is a supermarket, take whatever you want, but remember that the cash register is waiting ahead,» he summarized.

We remind that 21 deputies attended the on-site meeting of deputies on September 5. According to NikVesti information, most of them are related to or directly work at the Yuzhnoukrainsk NPP.

Before the meeting, the deputies tried to expel the NikVesti correspondent and operator. In particular, Anzhela Savastru stated that she rented premises in the «Enerhetik» cultural center with her own money, and allegedly that is why journalists do not have the right to be there. And then she asked them to pay her rent.

People's deputy Artem Chornomorov, elected to the Council for the district, which includes Yuzhnoukrainian, considers the decision to terminate the powers of acting mayor Oleksandr Akulenko invalid. According to him, «this is a seizure of power».

At first, Denys Kravchenko failed to register for the position. In a decision dated September 14, 2023, the state registrar refused to register him as the secretary of the Yuzhnoukrainsk City Council. The document states that Denys Kravchenko did not submit the documents in full, and also did not leave the original documents and his own application for registration with the registrar. It is also indicated that technical errors were made when filling out the application.

The third attempt to register Denys Kravchenko took place in the evening of November 8 in the Kobleve village council. Representatives of the Yuzhnoukraisk City Council, who oppose the appointment of Denys Kravchenko, said that the registrar had been given «fake documents» and called the police. Also, the deputy mayor of Yuzhnoukrainsk, Serhii Hornostai, indicated that the documents had «a fake stamp.» However, the attempt was successful for Denys Kravchenko and he was registered for the post.

Denys Kravchenko also explained why he could not be registered in the position the previous times. According to him, previously the work of the city council was paralyzed, and important issues for the community were not approved.

On November 20, Denys Kravchenko came to work, but could not get to the office. A locksmith was called to the scene and the lock was broken.

Denys Kravchenko has already managed to conduct several sessions. At one of them, the deputies supported the order regarding the settlement with Oleksandr Akulenko, who was dismissed by the same deputies.

In addition, the Yuzhnoukrainsk City Council will look for where the official seal went and who used it.
