Hundreds of Romanian citizens were exposed in Germany, who received money and housing under the guise of refugees from Ukraine.
This is written by «European Truth» with reference to local mass media.
Romanians appeared in places where the German authorities offered help to Ukrainian refugees. They said that they had left Ukraine and needed help, like all refugees. They were given housing, food and help at any time.
But several volunteers noticed that many of the «Ukrainian refugees» do not speak Ukrainian.
An investigation was launched, and it turned out that there are more than 1,300 people who are not natives of Ukraine, but would like to be, in the south-west of Germany alone. Among them are many Romanians who took advantage of the situation in Ukraine and the benevolence of the authorities in Berlin.
It is not known whether any sanctions were applied against the «Ukrainian refugees».
According to the latest data from the Council of Europe, Germany is one of the countries that has accepted more than a million Ukrainians.
We would like to remind you that the government of Latvia allocated 15.6 million euros to cover the costs incurred by the municipal authorities in connection with the reception and support of refugees from Ukraine.
