In Odesa, the number of victims as a result of the Russian missile attack increased to 11 people.
Oleg Kiper, the head of Odesa RMA, announced this.
«Two people were helped on the spot. 8 wounded remain in hospital treatment: one woman is in serious condition, the rest is in medium condition. Also, one victim continues outpatient treatment. Our doctors are doing everything possible to preserve the health and life of everyone,» he wrote.
Later, the director of city hospital No. 10, Denys Sebov, spoke about the condition of those hospitalized, Suspilne reports.
According to him, five wounded were taken to their hospital. A 52-year-old woman arrived in a serious condition, she underwent surgery.
«One patient, a 52-year-old woman, was admitted in serious condition with a shrapnel injury to the abdominal cavity. Now the patient underwent surgical intervention based on vital signs, fragments were removed from the abdominal cavity, and the intestine was sutured. The patient also had injuries to the soft tissue of the head,» he said.
The condition of the rest of the wounded was assessed as moderate, they were diagnosed with acubarotrauma, and three also had soft tissue injuries. One of the patients has signs of an acute psychological disorder and was transferred to the Mental Health Center.
As informed by the mayor of Odesa, Hennadii Trukhanov, communal services are eliminating the consequences of shelling. 25 apartment buildings were damaged, of which 71 apartments were damaged, 118 windows were broken, and in one of the buildings, more than 100 square meters were destroyed. m of roof. Part of the houses remained without gas supply.
The operational headquarters of the Prymorskyi District Administration works on site, where Odessa residents can turn to for advice and material assistance. The survey of the damaged buildings is ongoing.
«All relevant services are already working on eliminating the consequences of shelling. Buildings are being inspected to assess damage. Gas supply has been temporarily stopped in some houses,» the mayor noted.
