As a result of the explosion, probably due to a gas leak, 36 apartments were damaged in a multi-story residential building in Kryvyi Rih.

Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, announced this.

«One entrance (36 apartments) was badly damaged. Further decisions regarding the possibility of restoration or the need for dismantling according to the law can be made after an instrumental survey. The examination by a specialized organization will last two weeks. Until then, residents cannot return to their apartments,» he wrote.

He noted that a decision was made to pay priority assistance from the local budget in the amount of 40,000 hryvnias per apartment.

«Those who need resettlement in places of compact living will be provided, you can contact the headquarters in the 128th school,» Oleksandr Vilkul added.

He also reported that the electricity, water, and gas in the neighboring entrances had been restored. The cause of the explosion has not yet been established.

As reported, an explosion occurred in one of the apartments of a nine-story residential building in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, unrelated to enemy shelling. Previously, it was known about seven wounded and one dead.

We will remind you that on June 22 last year, an explosion occurred in a 16-story building in the Dnipro district of the capital, after which a fire broke out.
