A man's body was found again in the Tisza River on the border with Romania.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service on May 17.

As noted, the Romanian border guards reported the discovery of the body of a man with signs of prolonged stay in the water. No documents were found with him. Currently, the identity of the drowned person is being established.

The border guards emphasized that this is already the 30th tragic case recorded during an attempt to cross the Tisza border.

We will remind that on May 10, the spokesman of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, reported that since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, 28 men have drowned in the Tisza River, who tried to illegally cross the border with Ukraine.

Later, the body of a 42-year-old resident of Transcarpathia was found in the Tisza River. In total, this is already the 29th fatal case during an attempt to cross the border by river.
