Russia attacked three DTEK thermal power plants

On Wednesday, May 8, during the massive shelling of Ukraine, Russia attacked three thermal power plants of DTEK. Equipment was seriously damaged as a result of shelling.

This was reported by the company's press service.

«Another extremely difficult night for the Ukrainian energy industry. The enemy fired at three of our TPPs. The equipment is seriously damaged. Energy workers are currently working on eliminating the consequences of the attack,» DTEK said.

They reported that this is already the fifth massive attack on the company's energy facilities in the last month and a half.

We will remind that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 51 energy workers were injured and three people died from enemy attacks on the DTEK thermal power plant.
