A new bridge is planned to be built near Yuzhnoukrainsk, which will connect two villages: the works are estimated at ₴46.3 million

Crossing the Southern Bug River between the village of Bohdanivka and the village of Kostyantynivka

The Department of Capital Construction of the Mykolaiv Oblast is going to build a new bridge across the Southern Bug River, which will connect the villages of Kostiantynivka and Bohdanivka.

This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system ProZorro, writes NikVesti.

The contractor will have to build the new bridge by December 31, 2024, in particular, perform the following works: install floating concrete piers and span supporting structure of the bridge, manufacture mounting elements for fastening the piers, arrange shore anchors (together with anchors for mooring the bridge during raising), arrange road surface of intermediate bridge structures, as well as installing traffic lights and external lighting of the bridge.

The process of submitting applications from future participants is currently underway, the winner will be chosen after November 16.

We will remind that the issue of the crossing between Kostiantynivka and Bohdanivka is one of the main problems of the villagers. Back in 2017, the then village head of Bohdanivka said that communication between villages is unreliable, especially in winter, when ice forms on the river. He reported that there were even cases of people falling under the ice while trying to cross the river.

After that, in 2019, the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration announced a tender for the construction of the coastal parts of the bridge over the Southern Bug River, which will connect the villages of Kostiantynivka and Bohdanivka. At that time, it was planned to spend 2.4 million hryvnias of Energoatom's funds on these works.

Already in 2021, the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration announced a tender for the construction of a new bridge between the villages of Kostiantynivka and Bohdanivka. Then they even chose a winner and estimated the construction of the bridge at 25 million hryvnias.
