Trump: Zelenskyy wants to sign peace deal

According to US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is ready for a deal to end the war.

He said this during his first day in the White House after the inauguration, Fox News reports.

«He tells me he wants to make a deal. Zelenskyy wants to make a deal», he said.

However, Donald Trump does not know whether Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to make a deal. He added that this should be an important decision for the Russian side, as Vladimir Putin «is destroying Russia by refusing to sign a deal with Ukraine».

As a reminder, on Monday, 20 January, Donald Trump, who won the presidential election again in November, was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
