The Mykolayiv region is 86% ready for the upcoming heating season, which should begin in October.
This was said at the briefing by the head of Mykolayiv Regional State Administration (RSA) Vitaly Kim, the correspondent of «NikVesti» reports.
He emphasized that the damaged critical infrastructure was almost completely restored in the region. However, in the event of power outages, the Mykolaiv region has additional power sources.
— Therefore, I believe that we will spend the heating season well, — concluded the head of RSA.
As you know, in Mykolaiv CHP has once again dug up Mariupolska Street to replace 300 meters of pipe — the work is promised to be completed before the beginning of the heating season.
We will remind that, according to the mayor of the city Oleksandr Sienkevych, the previous heating season was difficult, but we managed to cope with all emergency situations.
Earlier it was reported that 11 tons of equipment from Denmark were delivered to Ukraine for the establishment of water supply and heating in Mykolaiv.
We will remind you that today the debt of Mykolaiv residents for heat supply to PrJSC «Mykolaiv CHP" reaches 234 million hryvnias.
It is worth noting that «Mykolaivoblteploenergo» signed acts of readiness for the heating season for only 19 apartment buildings. A total of 1,247 buildings are serviced by the enterprise.
It was previously reported that as of October of this year, «Mykolaivoblteploenergo» will need 455 million hryvnias to repay the debt between the approved and economically justified tariff.
We will remind, in July of this year, «Ukrenergo», together with the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Finance, signed two agreements with the World Bank on the allocation of grant aid to the company in the amount of 240 million to increase the reliability of the energy system.
It should be noted that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision to ensure the unchanged heat tariffs for the population in the new heating season.
Earlier it was reported that the worst situation in Ukraine with preparations for the new heating season is in the border regions with Russia, as well as in the front-line territories. In Mykolaiv, the situation is more or less stable.
In addition, the United Nations has launched an initiative to raise $268 million to support Ukraine during the heating season.
