It takes up to two days to connect all residential buildings of Mykolaiv to heat, — says the first vice mayor

They plan to connect all residential buildings of Mykolaiv to heat in a few days. To do this, the employees of the CHP and regional thermal power plant are currently working on the elimination of surges.

The First Deputy Mayor of Mykolaiv Vitalii Lukov reported this in a comment to NikVesti.

He specified that heat has already been supplied to the houses that are in the area of responsibility of regional heat. Currently, works are underway to connect the buildings for which the CHP is responsible, added the deputy mayor.

— More than 90% of the heat has already been started. Oblteplo, that is, our utility company, supplied one hundred percent of the heat to the houses. Now, for the last week, regional heat has been helping the CHP with its crews, because there are a lot of gusts. Unfortunately, we do not own this network, but we are helping now.

If we take it globally, then approximately 90-95% of the heat is already available in the city. But the situation will change, because the heat has just been turned on to a small micro-district on Mariupolska Street. I hope it will arrive by morning and people will already feel it, — said Vitalii Lukov.

He also informed that all residential buildings in the city are expected to be connected to heat in two days, but added that «it is difficult to guarantee something».

— Yes, we are approaching 100%. We expect that the entire city will be connected in a day or two. It is difficult to guarantee something here, because networks are breaking twice as much as last year. Now everyone is working to give people warmth, — said Vitalii Lukov.

It was previously reported that as of the evening of November 18, the Mykolaiv CHP company had connected half of the total number of consumers in Mykolaiv to heat.

In general, the 2023-24 heating season in Mykolaiv began on November 14. After that, «Mykolaivoblteploenerho» reminded the residents of the housing stock what to do in cases when heat is not supplied or the temperature does not meet the standards.

We remind that the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council approved new tariffs for the city's heat-generating enterprises. The cost of heating for citizens remains unchanged.
