Myhiia and Tylihulskyi park: the most visited tourist places of the region during the war were named in Mykolayiv RMA

According to the results of the 2023 tourist season, about 100,000 tourists visited the Mykolaiv region during the full-scale war.
This is evidenced by the data published in the «Program of Economic and Social Development of Mykolaiv Oblast for 2024».
It is emphasized that before the beginning of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the Mykolaiv Oblast had 147 nature reserves.
«The presence in the region of recreational and natural medical resources — a sea coast with a length of almost 140 kilometers, mineral water sources, deposits of therapeutic mud, is a material prerequisite for the formation of a developed resort and recreation complex,» the report states.
The recreational areas of the Tylihulskyi Regional Landscape Park have become the most attractive for vacationers and tourists.
Recreation areas in Kobleve, where tourists can enjoy a comfortable vacation near the Black Sea, were also popular.
Myhiia rapids and Aktove canyon have also become objects of increased tourist interest.
Earlier, the state tourism development agency updated the list of «Tourist magnets of Ukraine». It included 170 important tourist spots, 8 of which are located in Mykolayiv region.
We remind, as of the end of 2023, the amount of damage caused to the infrastructure of Mykolaiv reached almost 900 million euros, according to the data of the report of the project «Russia will pay» KSE Institute.
It was also reported that in the Mykolaiv Oblast due to military operations in the first half of 2023, the tourist tax fell by 72%. In addition, the total indirect losses of the spheres of culture, tourism and sports of the Mykolaiv region amounted to about 333 million dollars.
