In 2023, 67 buses were transferred from the schools of the Mykolaiv Oblast for the needs of the Armed Forces and evacuation

67 school buses were transferred from educational institutions of the Mykolayiv region for the use of the Armed Forces and evacuation of the population.

This is stated in the program «Economic and social development of the Mykolaiv region for 2024», NikVesti writes.

In total, there are actually 200 school buses in the territorial communities of the region. There are 289 buses on the balance sheet of institutions and educational institutions, 22 of which were destroyed, damaged, stolen or remained in the occupied territory. Another 67 were involved for evacuation and handed over to the needs of the military.

In 2023, 20 school buses were purchased for educational institutions of the region. As indicated in the documents, an additional 128 buses are needed to ensure 100% coverage of students with organized transportation.

As you know, during 2023, 44 school buses were purchased for the Mykolaiv region, one of them is inclusive.

We will remind that 4 school buses, which were purchased by the International Solidarity Fund of the Republic of Poland, were handed over by Mykolayiv RMA to the Snihurivka community.
