In the Mykolaiv region, it was possible to restore approximately 31% of the buildings that were damaged as a result of the attacks of the Russian occupiers.
This was announced by the head of Mykolayiv RMA Vitalii Kim during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center, NikVesti reports.
«244 high-rise buildings were renovated, 648 private buildings, 71 schools, 35 kindergartens, 2 higher education institutions, 18 cultural institutions, 113 health care institutions, 12 administrative buildings, 2719 housing and communal facilities were renovated and 19 bridges and 13 roads. This is approximately 31% of what was damaged or destroyed,» said Vitalii Kim.
The head of Mykolaiv RMA noted that large projects for the restoration of damaged buildings are progressing with difficulty because they require large investments.
«But we primarily do what we can do,» he added.
Earlier it was reported that Kim plans to improve air defense for Mykolaiv at the expense of local budgets.
