The utility company Mykolaivoblteploenergo owes NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine about 500 million hryvnias for natural gas.
This was announced by the director of the enterprise, Mykola Lohvinov, on the air of the Dialog program.
At the same time, he noted that the difference in the company's tariffs since the beginning of the full-scale invasion amounted to more than 800 million hryvnias. The difference in tariffs is the amount that is formed due to the difference between the actual costs of providing services and the amount that consumers pay according to the established tariffs.
«During the martial law, heat tariffs remain unchanged, and the difference is formed between the actual costs and the current tariff. Currently, the difference for our company is 800 million hryvnias. This is the amount that the state must compensate Mykolaivovlteploenergo. Debts for gas amount to about 500 million hryvnias, that is, the difference in tariffs is almost twice our debts. The situation is not being resolved, and we are paying our debts to Naftogaz as payments from the population come in. However, the difference in tariffs only increases and is not compensated,» Mykola Lohvinov explained.
In 2022, according to him, the difference in tariffs was compensated by the Mykolaiv City Council, but later these obligations were transferred to the state.
In the comment NikVesti Mykola Lohvinov said that the company constantly appeals to the state with a request for compensation.
«Does the state plan to compensate us for the difference in tariffs, when it plans to compensate it. Nothing is known about this, we would very much like to receive this money. We constantly appeal to the state in this regard,» he said.
At the same time, Mykola Lohvinov assures that the indebtedness of Mykolaivoblteploenergo to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine will not affect the start of the new heating season 2024-2025. According to him, the company is 100% ready for the start of the season.
«Settlements with JSC Naftogaz do not affect readiness for the heating season in Mykolaiv. We are 100% ready for the season. Funds are needed not for the start, but for the introduction of new technologies, construction of boiler houses and modernization of the enterprise. However, we expect the heating season to start on time,» he said.
Heating season-2024/25 in Mykolaiv?
We will remind, during the conference on the restoration of Ukraine in Berlin in June 2024, the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, reported to the chairman of the board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov, how the city is preparing for the start of the heating season.
Oleksii Chernyshov himself, in the comment NikVesti, promised to monitor that Mykolaiv CHP was ready for the heating season this year.
Later, Mykolaiv City Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said that at the start of the heating season in 2024, Mykolaiv CHP will take into account all last year's mistakes.
Before that, it was reported that Mykolaiv would not have time to build a new heat network on Pohranychna Street before the start of the 2024-2025 heating season due to a lack of funds. Although the director of Mykolaiv thermal power plant Dmytro Myroshnychenko assured that the workers will have time to complete these repair works.
We would like to remind you that the new tariff policy of Mykolaivoblteploenergo will provide for the introduction of a permanent subscription fee throughout the year, and during the heating season, the population will have to pay additionally for the supply of heating medium to the residence.
Earlier it was reported that in Mykolaiv Oblast infrastructure facilities were 78% prepared for the new heating season as of September 2.
We would like to remind you that the Mykolaivovoblteploenergo enterprise emphasizes the critically low level of preparation of networks of residential buildings by managing companies. Only 8% of houses whose heat supplier received certificates of system readiness.
In turn, Mykolaiv CHP company plans to complete all work on replacing worn-out networks by October 15-20.
Also, the Avtostrada group of companies won a tender for the construction of an underground heating network in Mykolaiv. For these works, the contractor will receive 487 million hryvnias.
